GRATE posts!
I want to throw these into the mix...
3.31.1989 - Neat jam out of Terrapin and AWESOME Dew.
7.7.1989 - BIG Show, JFK, 90000 people, Scarlet>Fire!
8.19.1989 - The Other One was the single greatest performance of any one song that I witnessed. Still say that this may have been the best I ever attended.
1989 was a good year for me personally. I had been seeing shows for about 4 years and '89 was my first visit to California. The Greek Theatre was the coolest venue! Those were the days...

Sorry - I didn't see that you included it. Was it just me or did the Greek slip into another dimension during the jam out of The Other One? At one point I found myself laughing out loud hysterically. It was one of the most spontaneous burst of emotion and enegy I have ever felt. WOW!!!

I never made it to a show at the Greek ; (

However, 08-19-1989 is one of my favorite shows of that era. Not only is the Other One huge, but the Loser, China-Rider and Wharf Rat are all top shelf...08-18 was the comtemplative and dreamy show, 08-19 was the powerful rock show...
